The Rapture Kindle Edition

4.7 out of 5 stars 534 ratings

This book presents the doctrine of the pretribulational Rapture of the church. Many prophecies are explored with Biblical passages and terms explained from the Scripture itself. Evidence is presented that proves the first century church believed the end times would begin with the return of Israel to her ancient homeland. More than fifty prophecies have been fulfilled since Israel became a state; several more are yet to be fulfilled. Evidence is also given that at least four ancient church fathers taught a pretribulational Rapture. This book also gives many of the answers to the arguments midtribulationists and posttribulationists use against the pretribulational position. It is our hope this book will be an indispensable guide for debating the doctrine of the Rapture. Brought to you by Biblefacts Ministries, Biblefacts.org

Ken Johnson was born in 1965 and became a Christian at the age of 12. He quickly realized there were differences in doctrine in various denominations and sought out to prove to himself the correct interpretation of these issues that divide Christians. After an intensive study of the first century church he sought to bring back the teaching of the disciples of the 12 apostles. He has authored numerous books and made ancient Jewish scrolls available to the English speaking world.

He currently travels to churches inside the USA, speaking on these and other topics. He currently attends Calvary Chapel of Johnson County, located in Olathe Kansas.

I appreciate the way Ken makes points with clarity, making it easy to follow and understand. In his defence of the pre trib rapture ( a contentious issue for some ) I found his straight forward approach welcoming.

5.0 out of 5 stars Review of Several of Ken Johnson's Books!

I have studied the Feasts of God and I love how Ken Johnson intertwines the prophecies of the festivals with the order of prophesied soon coming rapture and other events. You can bet it is a pre-trib rapture! Dr. Johnson does an excellent job of demonstrating this directly from the Bible. If you are a serious student of the prophesies of the Bible, You might also want to read his book "Ancient Messianic Festivals: And The Prophecies They Reveal" and "Ancient Book of Daniel" as well as "Ancient Prophecies Revealed: 500 Prophecies Listed In Order Of When They Were Fulfilled" In my knowing that Daniel's weeks of years are tied into the Shabuah (7 year sabbatical Shemitah year cycles), Ken Johnson brought the weeks of Daniel to life for me. Jesus will remove all those who are His off of the planet at the end of a cycle and the tribulation will start at the beginning of a cycle. I have absolutely no clue which year just the signs Christ said we are to watch for foretold in prophecy. Dr. Johnson also interprets history and Biblical data correctly placing the crucifixion [during a tetrad of blood moons and sackcloth suns over Israel] in 32 [and 33] AD using Daniel's timeline. He had to account for rulers changing the dates and times just as Daniel prophesied would occur. God had the crucifixion take place at exactly the right timing of the sacrifice to the minute on the correct day. Every spring feast fulfilled to perfection. There is no reason to believe the falls feast prophecies won't be the same right down to the exact minute day and year. Since the Book of Daniel has remained sealed, and only recently started to become an open book, I believe we will be seeing and understanding more and more prophecy as we get nearer to their times of fulfillment.Dr. Johnson also reveals the four hundred years of Biblical history that for centuries has been called missing history. It wasn't missing, it was simply written ahead of time and fulfilled to perfection! I look forward to reading his next publication.

5.0 out of 5 stars Follows the evidence...

This is a book for those people who say, "Just give me the gist of it," and don't like all the fluff. Ken Johnson's style is to give you a LOT of evidence to support his argument but give it concisely. Very few authors have this ability. In terms of "bang for your buck," I would say this is the best book on the rapture, period. It's an easy read, you can digest it slowly and piece by piece, but it has SO much good information.

4.0 out of 5 stars Somehow Disappointing
Reviewed in the United States on 6 November 2020

I experienced some credibility issues while reading this book, particularly among the Early Church writer quotations. The book reads somewhat like a high school term paper only longer. There is a glaring misspell in the beginning of the book which should have been found in this 2nd edition. I have been unable to find an email to write the author, even on his website. If the book is true, his is the most convincing treatment historically for the Pre Tribulation Rapture position in print I have seen. But like I said, some of the quotations I have seen nowhere else and due to their strong statements one would think they would have shown up by now in other books on the same subject but I have not found that anywhere.
