About the author

Jason Dean was born in London and grew up in the south-east of England. After finishing art college, he spent years as a graphic designer before deciding what he really wanted to do was write the kind of international thrillers he's always loved reading. So over the course of a year Jason spent his days working at his regular job, while his evenings and weekends were spent plotting and writing his first novel. 'The Wrong Man', published by Headline, was the result. Since then he has had five more novels and a number of short stories published.
He now lives in the Far East, and is currently at work on the next novel in his Korso series.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 July 2017A credible story with few techno gimmicks to strain credibility, which keeps the story moving through the entire book. The plot is interesting with some nice twists and turns to keep you focused. A darn good read!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 February 2017Slowly got into the character and one which I will keep reading into. Good all round book with an intriguing character.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 October 2017I really enjoyed this all action adventure, the first in the James Bishop series.
James Bishop has ended up in jail after being set up by a trusted colleague. Who set him up? Why was he set up? How long will it take for him to catch the culprit?
Really short chapters mean you can pick this up in short bursts, but it is difficult to put down.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 March 2017This is the first Jason Dean book I have read I thought it was very good but was a bit far fetched in places, but none the less I am now reading his second James Bishop book and so far so good!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 April 2016Just received the book today and I am well pleased with the condition! Described as being very good and after what I received recently as very good wouldn't pass as that BUT I would put this book as good as new ! Very Happy and will chose this provider again above some of the others I have purchased from. Well done to David & James of Serenitybooksscare@outlook.com
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 March 2024I really like this genre but this example is full of 'helpful' coincidences; whenever our hero is up against it there's a very 'easy' answer to the problem. There's also a weird obsession with sex and underage girls. The plot doesn't need it. I'm going to try the second book to see if the author has nailed it because I like the character.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 August 2017Start of another good series - hopefully. A good story line well constructed. I do wonder how someone carrying so many injuries can still get up and win the next battle.

4.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't Put It Down
Pretty gruesome to start with but I had to keep reading it. A lot of books are on similar plot ideas but this was quite different. Loved it
